Livni tells Sarkozy, "no humanitarian crisis" in Gaza
israhelli FM Livni, on a visit to Paris on Thursday, reiterated her rejection of a French-proposed ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to allow in humanitarian aid.

israhelli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, on a visit to Paris on Thursday, reiterated her government's rejection of a French-proposed ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to allow in humanitarian aid, her office said.

israhell has so far killed more than 400 Palestinians in six days of air strikes.

"There is no humanitarian crisis in the Strip, and therefore there is no need for a humanitarian truce," the Foreign Ministry quoted Livni as saying in a statement.

With food and fuel also running dangerously low in the blockaded Strip, aid agencies and the UN itself has warned of a looming humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

I really like this, is the grammar right though? I don't understand the bit 'just only arabs'. I fully agree with the sentiment. The Palestinians are being subjected to ethnic cleansing and few academics would dispute this. Why should the palestinians sit back while their country is taken from them by Israeli settlers .

Really interesting documentary on the subject.

Its very upsetting to see "israel" exist since its existence means destruction not only of the Arab World, but to the entire civilized world!

its just very simple...israel out ..palestine in peace. Always was Palestine..Always will be Palestine :)

~ademmm, there is no point in arguing with Israel apologists. You waste your time. Israel is always going to be right and Palestinians always wrong no matter what brutality they are subjected to.

Launch a rocket at somebodys house and then blame them for sending in the troops. Brilliant.
Everybody that lives there needs to grow up.
When has spilling blood EVER solved a problem there?
Stupid people on BOTH sides.
Stupid people with weapons...

Murder is murder, regardless of how many are killed. One is the same as 1000. Dead.
While I agree with some of your statements, there WAS a ceasefire until Palestinians launched rockets into someone elses house. And then they complain! Ha! Grow up!
If you punch your neighbor, and then he shoots you, it is your fault!
But in this situation it takes two to act stupid.
Stupid to launch a rocket and break a ceasefire. Stupid to send soldiers to kill people who had nothing to do with it. Stupid to complain when soldiers are in your neighborhood to stop grown up CHILDREN from launching rockets at you.
What did the Palestinians who launched those rockets think was going to happen? That nobody would care?! That people were just going to hide in their houses and do nothing while rockets are falling?!
When the cease fire ended, the Palestinians did not waste any time in getting back to the killing. You cannot bomb people into peace. You cant shoot at people and then expect them to care about you.
If the Palestinians want people to listen, maybe they should act like people that others WANTS to listen too. Nobody wants to listen to a killer.

It is past time for both side to stop playing the BLAME GAME. If they really want peace, then it is really simple to stop shooting. But when you have a weapon aimed at somebody, it is impossible to have an adult conversation about solving the problems that exist.
Would you want an Israeli bomb builder to move next door to you?
