israhell has so far killed more than 400 Palestinians in six days of air strikes.
"There is no humanitarian crisis in the Strip, and therefore there is no need for a humanitarian truce," the Foreign Ministry quoted Livni as saying in a statement.
With food and fuel also running dangerously low in the blockaded Strip, aid agencies and the UN itself has warned of a looming humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

While I agree with some of your statements, there WAS a ceasefire until Palestinians launched rockets into someone elses house. And then they complain! Ha! Grow up!
If you punch your neighbor, and then he shoots you, it is your fault!
But in this situation it takes two to act stupid.
Stupid to launch a rocket and break a ceasefire. Stupid to send soldiers to kill people who had nothing to do with it. Stupid to complain when soldiers are in your neighborhood to stop grown up CHILDREN from launching rockets at you.
What did the Palestinians who launched those rockets think was going to happen? That nobody would care?! That people were just going to hide in their houses and do nothing while rockets are falling?!
When the cease fire ended, the Palestinians did not waste any time in getting back to the killing. You cannot bomb people into peace. You cant shoot at people and then expect them to care about you.
If the Palestinians want people to listen, maybe they should act like people that others WANTS to listen too. Nobody wants to listen to a killer.
It is past time for both side to stop playing the BLAME GAME. If they really want peace, then it is really simple to stop shooting. But when you have a weapon aimed at somebody, it is impossible to have an adult conversation about solving the problems that exist.
