Livni tells Sarkozy, "no humanitarian crisis" in Gaza
israhelli FM Livni, on a visit to Paris on Thursday, reiterated her rejection of a French-proposed ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to allow in humanitarian aid.

israhelli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, on a visit to Paris on Thursday, reiterated her government's rejection of a French-proposed ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to allow in humanitarian aid, her office said.

israhell has so far killed more than 400 Palestinians in six days of air strikes.

"There is no humanitarian crisis in the Strip, and therefore there is no need for a humanitarian truce," the Foreign Ministry quoted Livni as saying in a statement.

With food and fuel also running dangerously low in the blockaded Strip, aid agencies and the UN itself has warned of a looming humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

I really like this, is the grammar right though? I don't understand the bit 'just only arabs'. I fully agree with the sentiment. The Palestinians are being subjected to ethnic cleansing and few academics would dispute this. Why should the palestinians sit back while their country is taken from them by Israeli settlers .

Really interesting documentary on the subject.

Its very upsetting to see "israel" exist since its existence means destruction not only of the Arab World, but to the entire civilized world!
CheCherry Featured By Owner Jan 10, 2009
its just very simple...israel out ..palestine in peace. Always was Palestine..Always will be Palestine :)

~ademmm, there is no point in arguing with Israel apologists. You waste your time. Israel is always going to be right and Palestinians always wrong no matter what brutality they are subjected to.

Launch a rocket at somebodys house and then blame them for sending in the troops. Brilliant.
Everybody that lives there needs to grow up.
When has spilling blood EVER solved a problem there?
Stupid people on BOTH sides.
Stupid people with weapons...

only one point gaza is biggest jail in the world.
read my journals
second point hamas home made rackets killed 10 people in 8 years.
israhell killed only one night 300 people in than days more than 700 hundred and nearly 300 of victims under 13 year old
how many victims are from both side please compare and check my another artworks.

Murder is murder, regardless of how many are killed. One is the same as 1000. Dead.
While I agree with some of your statements, there WAS a ceasefire until Palestinians launched rockets into someone elses house. And then they complain! Ha! Grow up!
If you punch your neighbor, and then he shoots you, it is your fault!
But in this situation it takes two to act stupid.
Stupid to launch a rocket and break a ceasefire. Stupid to send soldiers to kill people who had nothing to do with it. Stupid to complain when soldiers are in your neighborhood to stop grown up CHILDREN from launching rockets at you.
What did the Palestinians who launched those rockets think was going to happen? That nobody would care?! That people were just going to hide in their houses and do nothing while rockets are falling?!
When the cease fire ended, the Palestinians did not waste any time in getting back to the killing. You cannot bomb people into peace. You cant shoot at people and then expect them to care about you.
If the Palestinians want people to listen, maybe they should act like people that others WANTS to listen too. Nobody wants to listen to a killer.

It is past time for both side to stop playing the BLAME GAME. If they really want peace, then it is really simple to stop shooting. But when you have a weapon aimed at somebody, it is impossible to have an adult conversation about solving the problems that exist.
Would you want an Israeli bomb builder to move next door to you?

i agree murder is murder life is life but some lifes are cheep.
i say clearly when israhelli murders see people in gaza as a human can destroy in these masses?

Again, blame game. You dont want to hear the other side of the story. Palestinians are also responsible for what is happening.

There is NO excuse for firing rockets. NONE.
The Palestinians are getting what they asked for. War. And now they are sorry? Ha.

You are saying Israel does it, so why cant Palestinians. Because then that makes them no better than the people they are struggling against.
There is only one solution. Stop fighting, stop firing stupid rockets, stop bombing.

The problem is there is a double standard here. Hamas and the Israeli government are both guilty of the same thing. Yet, Hamas is only considered to be terrorist. The Israeli government continues to expand settlements deemed illegal by the UN. They are both guilty of killing innocents, Israel does so on a much larger scale. Yes, Palestinians are PARTIALLY responsible for whats happening. So is Israel, so is the US and so is the UN.

Yes there is an excuse for firing rockets, they are being illegally occupied. And everyone has the right to resist their occupiers in some form or another. The problem is, they fire them at civilians. Which is what stops me from supporting Hamas.

Thank you for your thoughtful response.
I agree with all of your points.
Ultimately, I only want people to be happy and live in peace.
I do not like the fact that my country is held responsible for the actions of Israel. I am not responsible for what Israel does. Israel is responsible for what Israel does.
If Israel cant allow Palestinians to return, then Israel has no moral ground to stand on.
But Home is where you make it. If Palestinians have to use weapons to ask for what they want, they will NEVER get to return. Of course why is it so important to return to a country that is full of enemies.
If the Palestinians were friendly and loving, they would be welcome anywhere. Instead they have a reputation as suicide bombers, and who can take a bomber seriously?

The question now is not, who gets to fire the last weapon, but who be the first to stop firing.
Until the shooting stops, there can be no dialogue, and if you are not talking, your are not solving your problems.

Actually if you really look into it the jews were there even before arabs existed... not saying that this should play any part in what is happening today. Also, lets not act as if the palestinians are completely innocent here. Is it horrible that innocent people are dying? Yes, it's horrible for both sides.
ademmm Featured By Owner Jan 8, 2009
compare the victims from both side during 10 days war 700 palestinians killed 300 of them children.
many houses ambulance hospital mosques schools are destroyed.
try to imagine when some thing happened in Europe or America how will be people react.
